Personal Relations 9 - Greek Prepositions 1-10

We are now going to look into 2 more prepositions that are very exact in showing our time and place relationship to God, and His plan through the ages, to bring us closer to Himself!

These 2 new prepositions are:

Personal Relations 9 - Greek Prepositions 11-12

The following is not only a time, but also a space/relationship chart. One of the most important things to know is where we are in the Bible relative to the "Cross of Christ".

Where does the new testament Begin in the bible?

Does it begin where most Bibles label the "New Testament", some Bibles put a special sheet just to divide the New & Old Testaments. This sheet or labeling is not in the original Bible.

The answer is found in Hebrews 9:15-17 : "And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Last will & testament) For where a testament is there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth."

The New Testament began when Jesus died on the cross. Let's see when Jesus died in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Personal Relations 9 - Old Testament vs New Testament

Now as you're reading in the Gospels, you can see Jesus preparing mankind for the New Covenant and how the Old Testament Scribes and Priests resisted, as they are all about to be unemployed!

The 1st New Testament Books that are in the time of the New Testament - New Covenant begin with the Book of Acts or Practices of men filled with the Holy Spirit.

One final thought regarding Meta or after - How do we get change of mind, when the most often usage of meta is after? Shouldn't it be after mind (meta nous)? To be exact or technically correct metanoeo Μετανοεω is meta = after and noeo = after considering, thinking or weighing it in the mind. Thus Change of Mind = Repentance.

What Jesus did for us at the Cross!

Satan's eroding power and ultimate destruction

Personal Relations 9 - What Jesus did for us at the cross

Satan loses power to kill people

Hebrews 2:14-15 "Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.

Job 1:16 "While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants and consumed them, and I alone have escaped to tell you."

Revelation 13:13 "He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven and earth in the presence of men." (note, it doesn't say anyone is killed, it's just a sign to deceive)

Satan will no longer have access to God to accuse

Revelation 12:9-11 "And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down to the earth. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death."

Satan's kingdom under attack in the Last Days

Revelation 16:10-11 "Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues because of pain, and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds."

Satan's power on earth taken away for 1,000 years

Revelation 20:1-3 "Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.

Satan thrown into the Lake of Fire - his end!

Revelation 20:7-10 "When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison, and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore. And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil who deceived them was thrown in to the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."
