Again the main focus of this word study is Lust as in the Lust of the Flesh found in Galatians 5:17, but first, let's review what we have learned so far.

From a look at the trunk we don't see blandness or wishy-washy or lukewarm - but on the contrary - red hot - do or die whether good or used in an evil sense.

The first family member we looked at was the compound word
A + Thuo or without or not any fierceness and the translators chose discouraged or to lose heart - thus reflecting back on the Root Stem 2 new words courageous or stout-hearted. Again either of these can be looked at as used for good or evil.

Next, we are going to look at the things our flesh lusts or desires for and what the Holy Spirit strongly desires.
